On 21 April 2020, UNESCO Chairs of the University of Jyväskylä in collaboration with the Council for Creative Education cordially invites you to the Online Conference on “Embrace the Creativity amidst COVID-19 Crisis”.

The conference is organized to celebrate the United Nation’s World Creativity and Innovation Day and at the same time to reflect on the current situation of the whole world, which is in great pain and grief due to the pandemic.

STEAM Experience Workshop by Youth in Action, Taiwan

Professor Pekka Neittaanmäki, UNESCO Chair on Digital Platforms for Transforming Economies and Professor Heikki Lyytinen, UNESCO Chair on Inclusive Literacy Learning for All (University of Jyväskylä) are giving keynote talks at the online event. Several internationally renowned scholars from Finland and all over the globe, teachers from lockdown areas and education innovation experts are contributing to the online discussion on current issues.

Topics are: challenges in distance learning, the creative and innovative potentials of STEAM education, questions related to health, well-being and learning in critical times, and more.
